Definitions and method

Compiled by the World Bank in World Development Indicators from official national and international sources, listed against each indicator by the World Bank. Some series come from third parties, so their own terms may apply beyond the World Bank's CC BY 4.0: check the source named for the indicator before redistributing. Sources in this set include: UN Children's Fund (UNICEF); State of the World's Children, UN Children's Fund (UNICEF); Childinfo, UN Children's Fund (UNICEF); Demographic and Health Surveys, Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program; Global Health Observatory Data Repository, World Health Organization (WHO).
